Saqifah Bani Sa aida
Saqifah is alluded to a roofed building, this specific building was utilised by banu Sa’idah a Jewish little clan which was essentially a part of khazraj clan.
This place is signified in Islamic history because on the day of Prophet ﷺ death, the two main tribes of Madinah Aws and Khazraj, arranged a gathering at this place which included only Ansar and no Muhajireen were informed.
This event actually began when Rasulullah ﷺ died, upon receiving news of the Prophet ﷺ death the companions who were ordered by the Prophet ﷺ to join the expedition led by Usamah returned to Madinah. There were three influential Sahabah in this aborted expedition such as Abu Bakr, Umar and Abu Ubaydah.
