0Masjid Aisha
Masjid Aisha formerly known as Masjid Taneem is located 5 miles away to the south of Makkah, in Al-Hil area, called Taneem. This masjid is the nearest miqat for the people living in Makkah or around and its name is associated with Hazrat Aisha (R.A), as she was the first person who used this mosque as miqat.
There are many ahadith about this Masjid and Aisha رضي الله عنه relation to its name. This masjid is the nearest miqat for the residents of Makkah, either permanent or temporary; the person who comes for haj or umra, and wish to perform more than one umrah, this masjid is the easiest miqat.
Sunnah way of umrah is to leave sanctuary (haram) limits and then again enter with ihram, because having ihram is not allowed in sanctuary boundary, and going back to origin city and then come back is a tedious task.
One scholar mentioned in his book, “The boundary for ‘Umrah for one who is in Makkah is the area outside the sanctuary, and it is better to do the ihram from Ji’irranah or at-Tan’eem”
